Dr. M. Sivasubramaniam is the Founder and Chairman of Sri Swamy Vivekananda Educational Trust. He was born into an agricultural family, and his father was a Tamil Pandit from a small village called Illupanatham near Perambalur. He completed his schooling at Veeraganur Govt. Hr. Sec. School and obtained his undergraduate degree in Mathematics, followed by a postgraduate degree in Tamil and English. After completing his studies, his primary interest was to become an employer and provide education to society.

In 1984, Dr. Sivasubramaniam founded a nursery and primary school, which later became a matriculation school in 1990. With a keen interest in women’s welfare, literacy, and employment, he took steps to improve the enrollment of women candidates in the institution. In 2000, he started an arts and science college exclusively for women. The group has since expanded to include a matriculation Hr. Sec. school, Girls Hr. Sec. school, polytechnic college, B.Ed college, teacher training institute, and a residential school.

In 2000, Dr. Sivasubramaniam was appointed as an honorary member of the Tamilnadu government Board of Nursery and Primary Schools. He received the Best Administrator award from the Governor of Tamilnadu at that time. He is a proficient orator in both English and Tamil and is an inspiring personality who motivates students to pursue their careers with a missionary aim.

His primary objective is to assist socially backward and educationally needy students in and around the Perambalur district. Dr. Sivasubramaniam provides fee concessions to meritorious and deserving students. He also offers suggestions to faculty members to improve the standards of the students and staff alike. Additionally, he holds a doctorate in Tamil.
